Fee	Current rule
Purchase fee	1% of the amount you put into Belief assets, paid on top of that amount: 0.5% to Tropic and 0.5% to authors.
Sale fee	1% of the proceeds of each sale.
Transfer fee (Battle)	5% of each round’s Transfer, deducted before the winning camp shares it. Not charged in a Draw, a No contest or a voided round.
Round fee (Battle)	$0.02 per entry per round, reserved with your Battle capital and charged when the round settles, including a Draw or a No contest. Refunded if the round is voided or you leave before it starts.
Network fees	Pay for onchain transactions and order execution, settled in USDG.

How the authors’ share is split

Tropic pays authors out of the purchase fees it has collected. The total is 0.5% of the amount put into Belief assets.

Buying a Belief that is not a fork

When someone else buys, the whole share goes to the Belief’s author.

Buying a Belief created as a fork

The share is split between the Belief’s author and the authors of its fork sources. If the direct source is itself a fork, earlier sources’ authors can take part too. Each purchase counts at most 4 Beliefs, including the one being bought, with the closer sources first.

The table assumes the buyer wrote none of these Beliefs. Every percentage is of the amount put into Belief assets.

Network fees

Transaction network fee	Each transaction you sign	The cost of that transaction on Robinhood Chain; at least $0.05. Waived when you stop a Battle entry and your cash cannot cover it.
Order network fee	Purchases and sales	The cost of each step of the order on every chain it touches.
Prepaid exit network fee	Purchases	The deposit described in Belief assets.
Cross-chain transfer fees	Purchases of assets on other chains	What Relay charges, included in each asset’s budget.
