| Camp | One of a Battle’s two sides. |
| Contribution | The flow for buying assets or entering a Battle: you enter the amounts and confirm the fees and terms. |
| Current Heat / Final Heat | The round’s average Heat across both camps’ entries, weighted by capital × time in the round. Time runs from the onchain confirmation of the entry transaction (or from the round’s start for an entry joined early or renewed) to the round’s scheduled end, and late settlement does not extend it. During the round it shows as Current Heat; the value settlement uses is the Final Heat. |
| Draw tolerance | The difference between camps within which a round is a Draw. |
| Entry | One contribution of Battle capital, with its Belief, camp and Heat. |
| Follow fees | An author’s share of the fees from others’ purchases of their Belief’s assets. |
| Follow trade | Buying another author’s Belief assets. |
| Fork share | Your share of the purchase fee when others buy a fork built directly or indirectly on your Belief and your Belief is among those counted, under the rules in Fees. |
| Funding account | Your Safe smart account on Robinhood Chain. |
| Heat | The risk setting you choose for an entry. It feeds into the round’s Final Heat and is not a personal loss limit. |
| Heat loss | What a losing entry pays: its capital × Final Heat. |
| No contest | A round in which one camp has no entries. |
| Portfolio return | An entry’s portfolio return at reference prices over its time in the round. It sets the camp scores and the winning camp’s payout weights, and it is not cash profit or loss. |
| Stopping | You have asked to stop automatic renewal. The entry plays and settles the current round, then returns its remaining cash and does not enter the next round. |
| Transfer | The sum of the Heat losses of every losing entry in a round, before the Transfer fee and not counting round fees. |
| Void | A round whose settlement was cancelled; Battle capital and round fees are returned and entries do not renew. |
