Where funds are held
Section titled “Where funds are held”- Cash is in your own funding account.
- Belief assets are in vault contracts, one on each chain, recorded to each holding.
- Battle capital is in that Battle’s own contract.
What Tropic operates
Section titled “What Tropic operates”- Executing orders across chains, including the choice of swap routes.
- Creating Battles and scheduling their rounds.
Settlement is calculated onchain from the oracle’s prices.
Upgrades
Section titled “Upgrades”The Belief assets contracts and the Battle contracts are upgradeable. An upgrade needs the governance Safe’s approval and a waiting period, currently 30 minutes and planned to become 3 days.
Exit without Tropic
Section titled “Exit without Tropic”Tropic’s quote signer approves the terms of a sale. If Tropic stops serving sales, the contract lets you request an exit and, 12 hours later, sell your whole holding with your own keys and tools. The sale fee still applies.
Your funding account is a standard Safe, so you can always operate it with any Safe-compatible tool.
